History of V8 trike project

 

 

 

 

This is my v-8 trike project. I am using a I.R.S. out of a 1990 T-Bird, using a 1974...454 chevy big block motor with a 400 Turbo Automatic tranny, planning on using a 1993 FXWG  wide glide front end off a harley. With the measurements I am using, I found out all ready I will be making my own headers for the motor. any others will not look right or be right on it. At this stage of the game, I am planning on making my own body for this trike, which is going to have a convertible top. Oh , and this trike has a name all ready, it will be called Shasta . Here is some latest pics of what I got done.  With the costs of radiators to do what I want I used radiator pieces out of one of my trucks and built the frame for it from scratch. Will be making covers to go around it. Adding framing for support for radiator frame. Got part of floor pan made, got to finish up rear brakes to finish floor frame. check back for some updates as the build goes on.
